Rachael Ross
For over 20 years now, Rachael has been coaching senior leaders who want to transform their leadership capability, both 1:1 and in small groups. She works with them as they grow in leadership presence, build confidence in their purpose and values, and develop their own unique leadership style. With coaching, they make a quantum leap in the quality of leadership, broadening their skill base beyond strategic and technical intelligence to include emotional intelligence and resilience.
Her approach is influenced by her clients’ needs and learning styles — it has been described as “both challenging and supportive at the same time.” Some of the influences on her leadership coaching and development include Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and NLP.
Rachael specialises in emotionally intelligent leadership. Themes that often come up include (a) exploring how to “broaden the bandwidth” of communication style, so as to engage more powerfully with teams, clients, and peers; (b) strengthening leadership capability in the core skills of emotional intelligence, e.g., listening and empathy; (c) developing a confidence and ease in engaging with diverse colleagues, especially in a global context; and (d) role modelling an ethical and values-led leadership style.
